Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I responsible for general upkeep of the apartment community, completing work orders and apartment turns, and performing preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include drywall, painting/staining, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, exterior/interior maintenance, and coordinating with the Property Manager on budget reviews. The role also involves making ready/turns between tenants, managing a preventative maintenance program, handling 24/7 emergency coverage, and snow removal. Compensation includes $22.00-$24.00 per hour, quarterly bonus up to $3,000 annually, on-call weekly bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Dry walling including painting and carpentry
- Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
- Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
- Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
- Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
- A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
