Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I responsible for assisting with repairs in apartments and common areas, supporting unit make-readies (including painting, light plumbing, and cleaning), maintaining tools and grounds, changing locks/filters/light fixtures, responding to service requests and on-call emergencies, tracking supplies, and upholding safety procedures to keep the community move-in ready. Requires basic maintenance experience, knowledge of HVAC/plumbing, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a driver’s license; opportunities for certifications and advancement are provided.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of general maintenance experience
- basic knowledge of tools, appliances, HVAC, and plumbing
- willingness to learn and obtain certifications (CPO/HVAC)
- valid driver’s license
- high school diploma (or equivalent)
