Job Summary
Performs diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories under general supervision. Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems; promotes products and services; communicates with dispatch and customers to ensure satisfaction; maintains documentation and completes paperwork; delivers and removes parts; represents the company professionally; follows procedures and ensures proper stocking and use of company vehicles; performs routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems; reads wiring diagrams and troubleshoots electrical, refrigerant, and duct system issues; demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills; onsite availability and on-call adaptability required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with additional training and 1-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required
- EPA and safety certifications required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
