Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I responsible for property care, routine repairs, and basic trade tasks across multifamily properties. Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and common areas, completing routine service requests and make-ready tasks, performing paint touch-ups and minor repairs, replacing basic hardware, fixtures, screens, and outlets, and supporting inspections, preventative maintenance, and storm response. Requires 1+ year maintenance experience, High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to safely operate hand and basic power tools. Must be comfortable with on-call rotations, safety protocols, and basic computer/work-order systems; physically capable of performing duties indoors and outdoors with varying conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Beginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting
- Ability to safely operate hand and basic power tools
- Basic computer and mobile literacy; familiarity with work-order systems
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
