Job Summary
Respond to maintenance service requests and manage turnover and renovation units at the Atheria at West Grove community. Perform internal and external repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, appliance, boiler, and HVAC work while operating machine tools like lathes and grinders to fabricate parts. Fabricate wooden structures such as cabinets and counters, maintain inventory, and prepare related paperwork. Participate in emergency and after-hours coverage based on the established schedule. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM with weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work
- Able to use required tools and machinery
- Professional interaction with co-workers, residents and vendors
- Knowledge and continued education of OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of MSDS requirements appropriate to the scope of work
- Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- High school diploma or GED, technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends required
Additional Requirements
- Completion of successful background screen and drug test required
