Job Summary
Conduct minor maintenance on agency properties including HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacements, and painting touch-ups. Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and edging, while maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with unit turnover and volunteer projects. Oversee vendor access for repairs and participate in routine vehicle inspections. Provide service to internal and external customers, manage agency resources prudently, and complete required data reporting. Engage with volunteers and participate in fundraising activities as needed. Requires on-call availability for two weeks in an eight-week rotating period. Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to lift 75-100 pounds are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Some related experience and/or training
- Ability to organize time efficiently
- Ability to safely and efficiently drive to new locations
- Ability to lift heavy objects (75-100 pounds)
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
- Ability to work independently
- Clean driving record
- Current license
- Proof of insurance
- Knowledge of building and vehicle maintenance requirements
- Knowledge of the use of office phone systems, personal computers and standard office software
- Valid driver's license with no more than three minor moving violations and/or accidents combined within the last 3 years
- No major moving violations in the past five years
- On-Call availability for 2 weeks, in a 8 week rotating period
