Job Summary
Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment, performing scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test adjustments using hand and bench power tools. Document all investigations, diagnoses, and work performed to return equipment to normal operating conditions. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute required maintenance and service tasks. Detect faulty operations and defective material, reporting unusual situations to supervisors while complying with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- strong hydraulic skills
- strong pneumatic skills
- strong mechanical skills
- strong industrial skills
- some PLC experience
- HVAC experience
- independently mobile to move safely within the plant
- physically able to see, hear and possess manual dexterity to use various hand tools
- physically able to move and lift items up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
