Job Summary
Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment through scheduled preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. Diagnose problems, replace parts, test adjustments, and document all investigations, diagnoses, and work performed to return equipment to normal operating conditions. Read manuals and work orders, use hand and power tools, and report faulty operations or unusual situations to supervisors while complying with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong hydraulic skills
- Strong pneumatic skills
- Strong mechanical skills
- Strong industrial skills
- Some PLC experience
- HVAC experience
- Ability to be independently mobile to move safely within the plant
- Physically able to see, hear and possess manual dexterity to use various hand tools
- Physically able to move and lift items up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
