Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I responsible for performing preventative maintenance on depot equipment, identifying and repairing deficiencies, completing maintenance work orders, keeping inventory records, reporting safety or contamination issues, adhering to lockout/tagout and PPE policies, and assisting in maintaining safe, compliant depot operations. Requires basic mechanical aptitude, fabrication/repair skills (welding, drilling, cutting, fastening), and ability to lift up to 65 lbs; warehouse environment with minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 Years’ Experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Basic fabrication and repair skills (Weld, Drill, Cut, Fasten, Etc.)
- Basic machine maintenance/mechanical skills
- Lock Out / Tag Out
- Identify and replace worn parts
- Identify adjustment points
- Grease bearings
- Change oil
- Flow control adjustment
- Pressure regulator adjustment
- Other mechanical adjustments
- Must work with someone with experience
- No Travel
