Job Summary
Perform all general maintenance tasks including service requests and turnover functions to maintain the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for residents. Execute timely completion of apartment turnovers, troubleshooting, and repair of major and minor mechanical systems. Handle basic appliance repairs and installation, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting. Maintain availability for on-call services and adhere to a schedule involving moderate outdoor work, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Requires high school diploma, two years of apartment maintenance experience, and proficiency in English and building materials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of two years experience and/or training in apartment maintenance
- Ability to speak, communicate, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace including, but not limited to, English
- Must possess basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools
- Must be available for on-call services
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
