Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I responsible for diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment to prevent damage to machinery and products. Duties include using hand tools and machine tools (lathes, grinders, drill presses), welding when required, reading technical drawings, performing equipment changeovers for different packaging types, documenting work orders and incident reports, and testing machines to ensure proper operation. Will work on the production floor or maintenance workshop for the full shift, maintain spare parts and tool inventory, and follow food safety and quality procedures. Ability to develop quick solutions to malfunctions, assist lead maintenance with documenting procedures for future fixes, and collaborate with packaging leads to improve equipment operations.
