Job Summary
Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as required by participating in the emergency on-call rotation. Complete maintenance service requests within 24 hours by repairing building systems, appliances, fixtures, plumbing, electrical components, HVAC systems, doors, windows, flooring, and other property features. Perform preventative maintenance inspections to identify repair needs and safety hazards, then prepare vacant apartments for occupancy while maintaining shop cleanliness and grounds appearance. Assist with seasonal property needs including storm preparation and snow removal. Provide courteous customer service to residents and report safety concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethics
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Desired Qualifications
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- EPA/HVAC Certification
- Experience in multifamily housing maintenance, construction or related experience
- Working knowledge of plumbing
- Working knowledge of electrical
- Working knowledge of HVAC
- Working knowledge of carpentry
- Working knowledge of drywall
- Working knowledge of painting
- Working knowledge of appliance repair
- Experience with navigating Appfolio
- Experience with similar Property Management Software
