Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I role responsible for journey-level skilled carpentry and a range of repair/maintenance tasks across the property. Duties include troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, repairing guest room issues, and supporting multiple trades such as electrical, plumbing, painting, and grounds maintenance. The position requires ability to learn and specialize in electrical, plumbing, painting, or carpentry to progress to Maintenance Technician II, with training and growth opportunities within Montage Hotels & Resorts/Pendry Hotels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one-year job related maintenance experience or engineering
- Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
- Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English
