Job Summary
Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Resolve warranty and non-warranty repairs to damaged products by dismantling devices, inspecting parts with precision instruments, and fabricating repair parts. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, expediting orders, and verifying receipts. Perform building, lighting, and plumbing repairs for the facility as needed, while assisting with truck loading, unloading, and maintenance. Provide on-site assistance to troubleshoot product and equipment issues, analyze inspection findings to recommend corrective actions, and maintain safe, clean working environments. Work flexible hours including overtime, drive to other facilities and job sites, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 – 2 years of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work flexible hours including over time as needed
- May be required to drive to other facilities and job sites
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration
