Job Summary
Inspect, identify, and correct facility, equipment, and system problems to maintain properties in safe condition and prevent service failures. Plan and schedule corrective action and preventive maintenance to repair defects and modify operating conditions of facilities and systems. Document work orders, purchase orders, and material lists to account for materials and time spent on assigned projects. Request supplies and materials to ensure availability for scheduled maintenance and emergency responses. Reconfigure, install, position, and remount modular offices to maximize space. Travel weekly to various properties and work overtime when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year related experience
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Basic computer and smart device skills
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, hydraulic and other systems
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight regularly
- Familiarity with local/state/federal rules and regulations for maintenance work activities
- Must be able to work overtime when needed
- Traveling weekly to various properties
