Job Summary
Assist Lead Maintenance Technician in executing maintenance tasks, cleaning tools and equipment, and preparing rigs for daily operations. Repair or replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other mechanical components while maintaining work order records. Perform routine equipment maintenance tests and inspections, adhering strictly to safety policies and health procedures. Available for all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and emergency on-call rotations. This entry-level role supports facility operations under guidance, requiring a valid driver's license and SCBA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to write simple correspondence and follow written/oral instructions
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and assist in team-based environments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and stairways safely
- Must be able to pass a fit-test for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Available for all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and emergency on-call rotations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior water or wastewater treatment facility experience
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification
