Job Summary
Respond to service requests for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs while documenting all work per company policy. Perform skilled trades including carpentry, painting, and make-ready tasks for vacated units such as flooring, drywall, and fixture replacement. Execute emergency maintenance for sewage backups, water leaks, and weather damage, ensuring unsafe conditions are corrected immediately. Maintain tools and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules, including filter replacements and equipment calibration. Drive company or personal vehicles to conduct business, with Level 3 technicians mentoring teams and assisting with troubleshooting. Work outdoors in all weather conditions and in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces. Obtain EPA 608 Certification within 180 days and complete OSHA-10 training within one year.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of general maintenance knowledge and experience
- 4-6 years of advanced knowledge and in one or more trades
- 7+ years advanced expertise across multiple trades
- trade certification or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Able to perform physical work
- Able to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly
- Able to lift weights above 50 pounds occasionally
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of different people
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to use technology platforms on a daily basis
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Punctuality
- Basic understanding of safety practices
- Valid Driver's License
- Must obtain EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire
- Complete OSHA-10 Training within 1 year from hire
