Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I responsible for preventive maintenance in guest rooms and common areas, completing and documenting maintenance work orders, performing routine repairs (painting, caulking, carpet/floor cleaning, changing light bulbs, toilet seats), maintaining safety and security procedures, landscaping and exterior upkeep, protecting guest information, conducting self-room inspections, and supporting hotel management with quality inspections. Requires experience with general tools and landscape equipment, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work independently in non-climate controlled conditions. Compensation up to $22/hour with benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and 401K with employer match.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably 1 year maintenance experience
- Knowledge of general tools/equipment, lawnmower and landscaping tools/equipment strongly preferred
- Ability to exert physical effort in operating equipment (up to 50lbs)
- Ability to operate independently, with minimal direction and exceptional support
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled conditions
