Job Summary

Monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, DC power equipment, control systems, and safety devices across pipeline facilities to ensure reliable operations. Perform station maintenance activities including environmental compliance, gas loss reporting, and daily inspections while recognizing and responding to abnormal operating conditions. Complete accurate documentation and reports aligned with regulatory requirements, work collaboratively within the team, and adhere to all safety policies and SOPs. This role requires daily oversight with potential weekend coverage up to seven days per week, overtime, and on-call rotation. Candidates must reside or relocate within 30 miles of the assigned location.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of directly relevant training and experience
  • Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to collect and relay basic facts
  • Ability to work with significant independence
  • Ability to adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software applications
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honesty, and openness are valued
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
  • Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions
  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis
  • Ability to make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to complete routine forms

  • Ability to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Desire to learn and advance, as an Electrical Controls Technician
  • Working knowledge of operations used in the maintenance of these facilities
