Maintenance Technician I - Brayton Hill

Maintenance Technician I responsibilities include coordinating tasks and supplies to prepare vacant units for re-occupancy, assisting with special projects, and maintaining the overall condition of the property (exteriors, common areas, vacant units, and surrounding grounds). Responsibilities also include cleaning/ restoring vacated units, basic maintenance tasks (changing bulbs/locks, appliance installation assistance, painting and caulking, drywall repairs), operating and maintaining tools and power equipment, conducting quality control on systems and aesthetics to meet move-in standards, assisting with trash removal, and supporting diagnosis and routine maintenance (electrical, plumbing, A/C/heating, and appliances). Emphasis on strong communication, customer service, problem solving, organization, and teamwork. Work is performed on-site with potential variations by property size; requires ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and respond to resident and vendor needs. The role is full-time and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager depending on property size.
