Job Summary
Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems. Execute clean-out and demo work for turnover, conduct general carpentry including wallboard and tile repair, and maintain grounds by mowing lawns and pruning trees. Monitor inventory, deliver supplies, and handle on-call lockouts and key activities during off hours. Participate in complex projects with senior staff and assist at other regional properties as needed. Live within 30 minutes of the property and maintain a valid driver's license. This entry-level role supports Beacon Communities' multifamily housing portfolio across New Haven and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Maintains a valid driver's license
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
- Must live within 30 minutes of the property
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb and work on ladders
- Must be able to work with arms raised over head
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to bend at waist and knees to lift boxes, appliances, furniture, shovel snow, etc.

Desired Qualifications
