Job Summary
Perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance by adjusting device parts, repairing defective components, and reconditioning machine tools. Identify necessary parts and supplies, then setup and operate simple machining operations including lathes and drill presses, or perform basic welding tasks as required. Troubleshoot control systems circuitry, update CMMS records, and participate in continuous improvement activities to drive process and cost savings. Ensure compliance with industry standards, 5S housekeeping protocols, and all safety policies while maintaining situational awareness in a loud factory environment. Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, with a salary range of $27.32 to $34.94 USD.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus
- 18 months of related experience in general industry
- Successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform repairs
- Ability to use basic hand tools
