Job Summary
Perform routine electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance tasks while executing preventative, predictive, and emergency repairs at the Laredo Distribution Center. Manage tool control and inventory programs to ensure equipment, tools, and spare parts remain secured, and conduct housekeeping activities including power-washing to adhere to safety guidelines. Dedicate 70% of daily efforts to cleaning and maintenance, with 30% focused on machine adjustments and production preparation. The role involves sitting, standing, walking, and crawling in a refrigerated warehouse averaging 50 degrees Fahrenheit, requiring the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years work experience as a maintenance technician
- Good working knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and plumbing
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodation
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending, squatting, and crawling on a regular basis
- 70% of the work is cleaning and maintenance
- 30% adjustments and preparation of machines in production
- Sunday to Tuesday and every other WED 6pm-6am
