Job Summary

Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment with a focus on the paint line and related mechanical/electrical systems. Duties include monitoring and supporting equipment to ensure uptime and quality, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment (conveyors, pumps, motors, and related systems), replacing and repairing components (motors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, controls), diagnosing failures and implementing permanent corrective actions, responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime, supporting equipment installation and process improvements, maintaining accurate maintenance records and parts usage, adhering to safety, lockout/tagout, and environmental regulations, and collaborating with Production, Quality, and Operations to improve plant performance. Preferred qualifications include an electrical background with experience reading schematics, trade-school or apprenticeship in Maintenance/Electrical/Industrial Technology, 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, and automated systems, and familiarity with paint lines or coating systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Electrical background and certifications required, including experience with: Basic industrial electrical systems Sensors, relays, and motor controls, reading electrical schematics.
