Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I – 1st shift responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient production. Duties include operating machinery used in product manufacture, following manuals and procedures, inspecting products for defects, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and completing related maintenance reports. Required experience with injection molding processes, electrical knowledge (110–480V), PLC-operated equipment, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong emphasis on GMP/HACCP compliance, safety training, and collaboration with maintenance and production teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school education
- 3 years related field experience
- Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
- Ability to drive vehicle during the workday is required
- Good math and analytical skills
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work well with others
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Computer (PC) skills, with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
