Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities, conducting regular inspections to identify issues before they escalate. Execute minor repairs for plumbing, drywall, painting, and flooring while replacing routine components like light bulbs and filters. Assist with renovations, warehouse improvements, and assembling office furniture or racking, plus support operations by responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Ensure safety and accessibility of entrances, walkways, and emergency exits, including snow removal during winter. Maintain a clean workshop and storage areas while following all health and safety policies. Respond to changing maintenance needs independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance equipment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to changing maintenance needs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely work at heights and use ladders or elevated work platforms
Desired Qualifications
