Job Summary
Perform electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, and appliance servicing while maintaining and repairing residential components like showers, sinks, doors, and building exteriors. Respond efficiently to resident service requests and maintenance tickets, preparing rental units for move-ins by completing all required make-ready tasks and quality checks. Implement annual preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and conduct routine grounds maintenance including debris removal and light landscaping. Provide prompt, courteous service to residents, clients, and internal teams while supporting special projects as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in apartment or property maintenance
- Proven experience in unit make-ready, residential repairs, and basic groundskeeping
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Must provide and maintain a personal set of basic maintenance tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, working independently or collaboratively
- Apartment Maintenance: 1–2 years of experience
- Property Maintenance: 1–2 years of experience
- HVAC: 1–2 years of experience (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC experience and valid EPA certification (Type 1, 2, 3, Universal, or equivalent) are highly preferred
