Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role at Northern Lights Village Levi focused on keeping facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. Responsibilities include executing daily maintenance tasks and inspections, responding to maintenance requests, maintaining records of repairs and inventory, coordinating with management to prioritize projects, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with external contractors when needed, and contributing to guest experience through diligent upkeep. Requires experience in maintenance, strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, ability to use tools safely, a valid B driver’s license, and fluency in English. Finnish language skills are beneficial. Position is seasonal with pay negotiated hourly; starts September/October and ends in April; on-site duties in Levi, Finland; accommodation may be provided; right to work in Finland required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Valid B drivers’ license
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Beneficial Qualifications: Technical or Vocational Training in a related field (plumber/electrician)
- Beneficial Qualifications: Fluent Finnish in addition to English
