Job Summary
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards. Perform maintenance and installation of systems including replacing light bulbs, cleaning circuit breaker panels, and servicing heating and plumbing units. Inspect alarm systems for fire and protection, schedule necessary repairs, and conduct manual tasks such as fixing locks, replacing windows, painting, HVAC troubleshooting, and snow removal. Navigate electronic work orders via smartphone and demonstrate manual dexterity while lifting up to 90 lbs and standing for eight hours. This role supports affordable housing properties with a focus on autonomous problem-solving in a detailed environment.

Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience is preferred
- Basic technology (smart phone/computer)
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
