Job Summary
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards. Perform maintenance and installation of systems, including replacing light bulbs, cleaning circuit breaker panels, and maintaining heating and plumbing. Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs, while conducting manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows. Navigate electronic work orders via smart phone and assist in system setup. Perform a variety of tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial work, inspections, and snow removal. Lift up to 90lbs and stand for up to 8 hours. Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 90lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
- Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience is preferred
- Detail oriented
- Basic technology (smart phone/computer)
- Organizational skills
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
