Job Summary
Conduct preventive, responsive, and emergency maintenance on physical plant assets including painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. Complete work orders, inspect grounds and buildings, and keep common areas free of debris. Perform emergency on-call service for after-hours issues, typically every other week. Assist the manager and Facilities Manager with special projects while adhering to safety policies and company procedures. Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and staff to foster a positive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community building maintenance, or related trade
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds variable distances
- Mobility and flexibility to use ladders to heights in excess of 8 feet
- Ability to work outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit as assigned when necessary
- Ability to follow instructions
- Team attitude with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills

- Efficient
- Basic computer and Internet abilities
- Must complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
