Job Summary
Perform painting, electrical, plumbing, flooring, HVAC, and carpentry repairs in condominium units and common areas. Complete work orders, inspect grounds and buildings, and execute special projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Handle emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance issues while ensuring adherence to safety policies. Maintain the physical condition of the four-acre property and foster a respectful attitude with residents and vendors. Requires minimum two years of community building maintenance experience and ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community building maintenance or related trade
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Detail oriented
- Efficient
- Ability to follow instructions
- Team attitude with the ability to work independently
- Basic computer and Internet abilities
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds variable distances
- Mobility and flexibility to use ladders to heights in excess of 8 feet
- Ability to work outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit as assigned when necessary
- Use of general maintenance equipment including but not limited to hand tools, ladders, and required safety equipment
