Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems throughout the property. Respond promptly to guest room and common area maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently with minimal disruption. Maintain accurate logs, work orders, and equipment records while inspecting grounds, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest rooms to address problems before they escalate. Coordinate with vendors for repairs beyond in-house capabilities and ensure compliance with safety codes and brand requirements. Support housekeeping and operations teams during high-occupancy periods. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call emergency response required.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or multi-unit residential environment
- Working knowledge of HVAC, basic plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry/repair
- Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, safety data sheets, and work order systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined or outdoor spaces as needed
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call emergency response
Desired Qualifications
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator), EPA 608, or HVAC certification a plus; willingness to obtain certifications supported
