Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on residential homes, resort amenities, and common areas, diagnosing and fixing issues involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and general building components. Complete assigned work orders accurately while conducting preventative maintenance inspections to reduce equipment failures and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Respond promptly to guest requests, coordinate with Dispatch and Operations teams to prioritize urgent service, and document all activities within the work order management system. Maintain tools and supplies, assist with property improvements, and adhere to company safety procedures while working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience in hospitality, residential, commercial, or related environments preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify solutions, and complete repairs independently
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as required
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing inspections and maintenance tasks
- Ability to reach, stretch, climb, and maneuver safely while utilizing tools and equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required to operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to heat and varying weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality, resort, hotel, vacation rental, or property management experience is a plus
