Job Summary
Inspect and maintain outdoor grounds areas, including the pool, ensuring safe and attractive conditions. Perform work orders and repairs for HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing systems. Conduct make-ready processes for vacated units, assisting with painting, dry-wall, and carpet cleaning. Log and replace building lights, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and furnace filters as needed. This role requires evening and weekend on-call hours at Emerald Lakes, a luxury apartment community in Greenwood, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have thorough working knowledge of building maintenance
- Able to communicate clearly, both orally and written
- Able to perform basic mathematical functions
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance hand tools, user mover aids, cleaning fluids etc
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification preferred, but not required
