Job Summary
Maintenance Technician position at Huntington Park Apartments in Shakopee. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements, processing resident maintenance requests, monthly checks of fire extinguishers and smoke detectors, boiler knowledge, water and gas shut-off familiarity, sewer clean-outs, vacants unit readiness, and reporting projected expenses to the Property Manager. On-site housing is optional with potential rent discount; benefits include comprehensive health coverage, HSA, PTO, holidays, 401(k) matching, EAP, and paid professional development. Walk-in interviews are held Wednesdays 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at 5290 Villa Way, Edina, MN 55436.
Required Qualifications
- Some Electrical Knowledge
- Plumbing Knowledge
- Carpentry
- Punctual
- Detail-oriented
- Willingness to obtain Boiler/CPO license (not a requirement)
- Experience as Maintenance Technician
- Preventative maintenance experience
