Job Summary
Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance or repair on rental units, including basic electrical and plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliance repair, flooring, roofing, and controlled access systems. Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs to meet deadlines, then report major repairs and requisitions to the Property Manager prior to expenditure. Change locks, rekey, and make new keys, while moving items like appliances and assisting with removing abandoned property. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends every four to five weeks. Requires a valid driver's license, vehicle with insurance, and three years of property maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in property maintenance or equivalent field
- Valid license and vehicle with insurance coverage
- Understanding of how to use a company-issued iphone and apps for communicating job notes, photos, and time clock
- Must pass a criminal background check
