Job Summary
Operate grounds keeping equipment including mowers, leaf blowers, and weed whackers while assisting with minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs. Perform janitorial tasks such as cleaning, restocking bathrooms, and removing debris and trash to ensure a safe environment for campers. Properly maintain equipment and machinery throughout the year-round full-time role. This position supports a nonprofit organization that enhances the camp experience for thousands of campers across three facilities in Long Island, Rockland County, and Staten Island.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Safety forward
- Ability to bend, walk and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Hands on experience in electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry
