Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing systems crucial for animal production facilities. This involves using various tools and equipment, following work orders, and being on call for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or greater
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and work orders
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license
- Acceptable MVR
- Ability to pass DOT physical and obtain medical card
