Job Summary
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry tasks like unclogging drains, replacing toilets, hanging decor, and fixing broken furniture. Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine if third-party technicians are needed, while conducting routine inspections of premises and systems. Report facility needs, manage tool kits, and assist with new property installations as assigned. Assume emergency on-call duty when required. This role supports Heirloom's property operations in Bay St. Louis, ensuring all spaces meet brand standards for group travel experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have an upstanding driving record
- Must have access to their own dependable truck and/or van
- Must live in close or commutable proximity to Bay St. Louis (within 30 minutes)
- Must have prior in-house maintenance experience (2+ years)
- Must be highly proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be available for some weekend and evening availability
Desired Qualifications
- Any kind of construction background or trade certification
