Job Summary
Maintain the property's physical integrity and appearance by performing routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement; respond to resident service requests via a work order system; conduct preventative maintenance; prepare vacant units for new residents; inspect and supervise vendors/contractors; maintain amenity areas and ensure safety and code compliance; participate in safety trainings and OSHA reporting; requires HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license; on-call availability evenings and weekends; strong focus on resident service and cost-effective maintenance practices.
Required Qualifications
- One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair
- HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling
- Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired
- Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends upon the needs of the property
- Valid driver’s license required (for golf cart operation if applicable)
- Must be customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Any other certifications as required by local and state laws
