Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Harbor Group Management responsible for maintaining the property's physical integrity and appearance. Duties include performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement; responding to resident service requests via a work order system; conducting preventative maintenance; preparing vacant units for new residents; maintaining amenity areas; managing maintenance tools and inventory; adhering to safety policies and OSHA training; inspecting work by vendors or contractors to ensure quality; assisting in property inspections.
Required Qualifications
- One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
- HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.
- Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.
- Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends upon the needs of the property.
- Valid driver’s license required (for golf cart operation if applicable).
- Must be customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Any other certifications as required by local and state laws.
