Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Harbor Group Management (Non-Exempt, Full Time) responsible for maintaining property safety, appearance, and operations across buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. Duties include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, glass replacement; handling resident service requests; conducting preventative maintenance; preparing vacant units; maintaining amenity spaces; inventory management; and adhering to safety/OSHA requirements. Requires one year of maintenance experience, HVAC certification preferred (EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling), valid driver’s license, and availability for emergency on-call; strong customer-service orientation and attention to detail. Required Qualifications
- One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair
- HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling
- Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired
- Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends upon the needs of the property
- Valid driver’s license required (for golf cart operation if applicable)
- Must be customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Any other certifications as required by local and state laws
