Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and associated facilities. Duties include preventive maintenance, addressing maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime, repairing carpet, wall coverings, furniture, lighting, and cosmetic items in guest rooms and public areas, maintaining pool and pool area (may include hot tub), repairing irrigation and sprinkler systems, managing parts and supplies, and communicating needs to the General Manager/Area Maintenance leadership. Requires ability to perform safety-compliant maintenance, attend mandatory meetings, and ensure the physical plant supports guest experience; prior experience with pool operation and a background check are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ maintenance experience in a commercial or residential environment preferred
- Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper
- HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills
- Certification in pool operation preferred
- Meet minimum age requirements
- May need a valid driver license with acceptable driving record
- Must pass criminal background check
