Job Summary
Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems. Conduct daily inspections of building grounds, common areas, and vacant units to remove debris, manage snow removal, and ensure turnovers are completed. Winterize facilities, maintain swimming pool chemical balance, and inspect subcontracted service providers for quality. Assist in training entry-level technicians and manage administrative duties including recording maintenance requests and inventory. Available for 24-hour emergency calls on an on-call rotation with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years maintenance experience
- Must have own tools
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled
- Must be capable of performing administrative duties including following proper procedures for recording maintenance requests and responding to them, use proper forms, and maintain inventory of parts
- Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment
- A clean background check
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC and/or EPA certification
- Previous multifamily experience
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
