Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems across multifamily properties. Conduct daily inspections of grounds, common areas, and vacant units to remove debris, manage snow removal, and ensure proper turnover procedures. Assist in training entry-level staff, oversee subcontracted service quality, and maintain inventory while documenting all maintenance requests and regulatory inspections. Available for 24-hour emergency calls with an 8-hour Monday through Friday schedule, occasional overtime, and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years maintenance experience
- Must have own tools
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled
- Must be capable of performing administrative duties including following proper procedures for recording maintenance requests and responding to them, use proper forms, and maintain inventory of parts
- Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment
- A clean background check
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC and/or EPA certification
- Previous multifamily experience
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
