Job Summary
Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventative maintenance on appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and pool equipment. Conduct daily inspections of grounds, common areas, and vacant units to remove debris, remove snow and ice, and ensure turnovers are completed. Assist in training entry-level staff, oversee subcontracted service providers, and document work quality. Available for 24-hour emergency calls with an 8-hour Monday through Friday schedule, occasional overtime, and weekends as needed. Requires two years of maintenance experience, own tools, and a clean background check.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years maintenance experience
- Must have own tools
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled
- Must be capable of performing administrative duties including following proper procedures for recording maintenance requests and responding to them, use proper forms, and maintain inventory of parts
- Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment
- A clean background check
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC and/or EPA certification
- Previous multifamily experience
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
