Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems. Conduct daily inspections of building interiors and grounds, removing debris, clearing snow/ice, and winterizing facilities to prevent freeze damage. Assist in training entry-level staff, inspecting subcontractors, and ensuring turnovers are completed and documented. Maintain inventory of parts, record maintenance requests, and prepare properties for regulatory agency inspections. Available for 24-hour emergency calls with occasional overtime and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years maintenance experience
- Fair Housing Certificate
- Must have own tools
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled
- Must be capable of performing administrative duties including following proper procedures for recording maintenance requests and responding to them, use proper forms, and maintain inventory of parts
- Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment
- A clean background check
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC and/or EPA certification
- Previous multifamily experience
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
