Job Summary
Conduct all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, including appliance repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, and painting. Assist with unit turnovers and oversee work performed by contractors while maintaining a professional demeanor. Operate independently and as a team member, working weekends and participating in an after-hours on-call rotation. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and extensive mobility. Reports directly to the Community Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years prior apartment maintenance experience
- Experience with appliance repairs
- Experience with general carpentry
- Experience with basic plumbing
- Experience with basic electrical work
- Experience with drywall and painting
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors
- Pleasant and professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Extensive mobility
- Excellent physical condition
- Willingness to work weekends
- Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation
