Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, including appliance troubleshooting, drywall and painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work; assist with unit turnovers and participate in after-hours on-call rotation; report to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager; must have 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience; HVAC/CFC certification preferred; able to work independently and as part of a team; oversee work by contractors; weekend availability and on-call rotation required; full-time schedule 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; benefits include health/dental, PTO, 401k, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years apartment maintenance experience
- experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting
- HVAC/CFC certification is preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to oversee work performed by contractors
- pleasant professional demeanor
- reliable transportation
- extensive mobility and excellent physical condition
- willing to work weekends and be part of an on-call rotation
